Annual fire safety statements
In NSW, every building with essential fire safety measures must lodge an annual fire safety statement. Council can only chase a statement for a building it knows about.

What it finds
- Buildings that look like they carry essential fire safety measures (pubs, clubs, halls, motels, care homes, childcare) but are not on your statement register
- Statements past their annual date, from your own records
- Registered buildings whose business the evidence says has closed
What you send
Your fire safety statement register: address, your reference, and the date the last statement was received. A spreadsheet or CSV export is fine. You check the columns before anything runs.
